Parents beating on their children. Today at work a little kid, maybe 2 years old, took a sucker from the shelf. He was just holding it- hadn't opened it or put it in his mouth. The dad (or grandpa) ripped it from the toddler's hand, roughly swung him around by is arm and spanked that poor baby right in the middle of the store. I thought that poor thing was going to have his arm ripped out of socket how that man swung him.
What is up with people?
At least my co-workers are pretty all right. Then last night I got to go on a rescue mission for a run-away boat. :-) I love looking at the moon over the water.
I decided to take my blogging in a new route... not just crafting but food and anything else I decide makes me happy.

For right now
My old blog wasn't inspiring me to post much. Working 60+ hours a week at minimum wage isn't all that it is cracked up to be, as many of you well know. It doesn't leave a lot of time for designing and crafting. I miss having that freedom.
What saves my soul and my sanity right now is food. No matter what else happens, I still get to eat. Usually. But when I don't we get to rain down all kinds of crazy and mostly get away with it- if you don't feed the hypoglycemic, you have to face the consequences. I can totally justify making time to bake and cook.
I have been reading food blogs like crazy. Tonight's experiment after I made up my dinner was vegan peperoni made not-so-vegan- by my lack of nutritional yeast. They still taste like beets to me. We'll see how that goes tomorrow in my lunch... probably not actually going to make pizzas out of them.
Anyhow.... food. It SO makes me happy.
